How do I delete my account?

Open the app → tap the Settings icon → tap Delete Account → confirm. Your account, memory lanes, photos, voice clips, and all other data are permanently removed from our servers.

Is my data private?

Yes. Face detection runs entirely on your iPhone — no biometric data is ever uploaded. Birthday detection reads your Contacts locally; the contact data never leaves your phone. Photos are only uploaded when you explicitly share them to a memory lane.

Why didn’t my friend get my invitation link?

Make sure they tap the link on their iPhone. If they don’t have the app yet, the link will take them to the App Store. After installing, they may need to tap your original link a second time.

I’m not receiving SMS verification codes

Memory Tunnel uses Twilio Verify to send SMS codes. If you don’t receive a code:

Check that your phone number is in the format +1 followed by 10 digits
Wait 30 seconds and try again (sometimes carriers delay delivery)
Check that your phone has cell signal or WiFi
If the issue persists, email us at the address above

How do I report a bug?

A description of what happened
What you were doing when it happened
Your iPhone model and iOS version (Settings → General → About)
A screenshot if possible
